South Shore Window & Door was founded by Jack Clarke and Ollie Carr.

Jack’s background is in fine residential painting, wood restoration, and working on older homes. Over the years, he has restored countless pieces of original woodwork and has seen firsthand the difference that proper preparation and craftsmanship can make.

Ollie is an experienced all-around tradesman with a broad range of hands-on construction and carpentry skills.

Working on residential projects, we repeatedly noticed the same problem with window and door replacements: the installation itself might be completed, but the surrounding work was often overlooked.

• Rotten wood could be covered.
• Old deteriorated trim could be left in place.
• Water-damaged areas could go unnoticed.
• Interior trim could be left unfinished.

We knew there was a better way.

So we built South Shore Window & Door around a simple idea:

Do the entire job properly.

• We inspect the opening.
• We repair what needs repairing.
• We install the window or door correctly.
• We seal it against the elements.
• We restore or replace the trim.
• We finish the interior.

And we don’t consider the job complete until it looks right.
